Young children learn best through hands-on play with a caring adult nearby. - Sorting: sort buttons, blocks, or laundry by color or size. - Counting walk: count steps, doors, or birds on a walk. - Story retell: read a picture book, then act it out with toys. - Kitchen helpers: measure, pour, and stir with supervision. - Sound hunt: find things in the house that start with the same sound. - Mark making: offer crayons, chalk, or a tray of sand for drawing shapes and letters. Keep sessions short, follow your child's interest, and stop while it's still fun.
